Grief is the subject on which the Bible is least tidy. It does not hurry anyone through it. The book of Lamentations is five chapters of unresolved sorrow. Job's friends are at their most helpful in the seven days they sit with him and say nothing at all.
So the verses below are not arguments that you should feel better. Most of them are simply statements that God is near the brokenhearted — near, not fixing. Jesus' own promise in Matthew is not that the mourning will stop mourning, but that they will be comforted, which is a different thing.
Ecclesiastes is worth reading slowly here. It gives weeping and mourning their own season, listed as plainly as laughing and dancing. Nothing in the passage suggests one is a failure of the other.

El duelo es el tema en el que la Biblia es menos ordenada. No apura a nadie. Lamentaciones son cinco capítulos de dolor sin resolver. Los amigos de Job son más útiles en los siete días en que se sientan con él sin decir palabra.
Por eso estos versículos no son argumentos para que te sientas mejor. Casi todos dicen simplemente que Dios está cerca del quebrantado de corazón. Cerca, no arreglando. La promesa de Jesús en Mateo no es que el que llora deje de llorar, sino que será consolado, que es otra cosa.
Vale la pena leer Eclesiastés despacio aquí. Le da al llanto y al luto su propia estación, tan sencillamente como a la risa y el baile. Nada en el pasaje sugiere que uno sea el fracaso del otro.
